I have an overweight and very food-motivated kitty. I weigh her daily food allotment and portion it out in small servings. I also buy good quality broth to fill her tummy in a lighter way - it is good for her kidney function, which we have to watch as she is 18. I use three different types of food puzzles too, to stimulate her brain and get her to eat slower.
Chris guessed 134, so he is very very close to the true caloric intake! He’s also on a measured daily allotment.
It sounds like the allotment has kept his brain sharp! Good job Heidi and Chris!
Yes. Or shall we say, it has kept him motivated. The end.

I like your style of making food intake satisfying and fun!
Thanks so much, Cindy! I plan to do a post with some very funny photos in the coming months.
